Cancellation policy
When booking, we ask for a deposit of 50% of the rental price. The remaining payment must be made at least 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellations are possible up to 4 weeks before arrival; after that we charge 30 % of the rental price for the duration of the booked stay.

Holiday destination
The area around Medveja offers countless possibilities. Coastal towns such as Mocenicka Draga, Icici, Lovran, Opatija and Rijeka are well worth seeing. Trips to the islands within Kvarner Bay such as Cres and Krk are also worthwhile. The Ucka Nature Park invites you to enjoy beautiful walks in the midst of nature. In good weather, you can get a view of Veneto from the summit. Day trips to Venice are also organised from Medveja.
Getting there
You reach us best via Italy/Triest or via Salzburg, Villach to Slovenia/Karawanken Tunnel. From there drive toward Rijeka, then further toward Pula past Opatija, Icici, Ika and Lovran. After Lovran you will reach Medveja and turn right behind the campsite at the sign to "Kali" and drive uphill along the S-curves until you reach "Villa Sabine" on the left side at the top.
The approach is somewhat steeper than usual due to the slope and is not suitable for bicycles.

Host informationWe are Sabine and Franjo Antolovic from Berlin and we built our house in 2016 with great attention to detail. We used natural materials from the region, such as marble from Istria and other natural stone used indoors and out.
Our modern villa, in a style typical of the country, is located 200 m above sea level near the Ucka Nature Park and approx. 1 km from the bathing beach. The apartments feature very high-quality furnishings, all have sea and pool views, wood-burning stoves, modern built-in kitchens, natural stone bathrooms and double beds made of solid oak.

Die Wohnung hat alles wie im Angebot versprochen.
Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment wohlgefühlt.die anfahrt ist wirklich spektakulär und wir waren immer froh wenn kein Auto entgegen kam.
In der Wohnung dann wurden wir mit einer wahnsinnigen Aussicht belohnt.
Die Wohnung selbst war sehr sauber und mit allem was man braucht,ausgestattet.es war ein richtig schöner Urlaub und wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Alles hat wunderbar geklappt, von der Buchung über die Anreise, Schlüsselübergabe inkl. Rückgabe und kurzer Einweisung durch den Hausherrn. Das Apartment ist wunderbar, sauber, toll eingerichtet inkl. der Küche, alles was man im Urlaub braucht. Auch wenn wir den schönen Pool nicht oft genutzt haben, da wir lieber im Meer schwimmen, waren wir am Sonn- und Feiertag, wo die Strände doch schon recht voll waren, sehr froh darüber. Speziell zu erwähnen ist natürlich der grandiose Ausblick, der ausschlaggebend für die Buchung war. Er hat uns nicht enttäuscht, sogar die Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Auffahrt nach Kali ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber mit "normalen" PKW machbar. Ein hervorragendes Lokal in Gehweite rundet das Angebot ab.
