Our house is quietly situated on a slope in Hirschaid / district Sassanfahrt, 12 km south of the World Heritage city of Bamberg. Good access to the A73 (2 km) and to the A3 via B505. Hirschaid station about 1.5 km away. Supermarket, bakers, butchers, health food store, pharmacy, doctors, swimming pool and restaurants are located nearby and are well within walking distance.
Excursions in the Franconian Switzerland, with its famous caves, steam locomotive rides, climbing and hiking.
Or to Bamberg with the bridge city hall, cathedral and numerous museums, breweries and idyllic beer gardens.
Great swimming pools as well as animal-u. Amusement parks in the area.
Getting there
Comfortable with car via the A73 and the A3 (B505), by train or by bicycle.
Nuremberg Airport is only 50km away.

Die Wohnung ist sehr funktionell, praktisch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man für einen angenehmen Urlaub braucht. Die Räder konnten wir sicher abstellen, die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders über den frischen Kuchen und die Pralinen haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Wir haben die Woche im schönen Frankenland sehr genossen.

Urlaub wie bei Mutter. Sonntag nachmittags angekommen und mit frischen Obstkuchen und Kaffee willkommen geheißen. Sehr freundlich begrüßt und die Wohnung sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wie zu Hause mit frischen Blumen und es ist an alles gedacht. Von uns 5 Sterne!
